Rachel Tucker is a bonafide legend of the West End. With numerous Olivier Award and WhatsOnStage Award nominations, her work includes playing Elphaba inWicked on the West End, Broadway and as part of the London 10th Anniversary Cast, her multi-award nominated run in Come From Away, Norma Desmond in the Jamie Lloyd production of Sunset Boulevard at the Savoy Theatre and We Will Rock You at the Dominion.
Most recently, Rachel was Persephone in a sell-out run in Hadestown and she currently plays Myrtle Wilson in The Great Gatsby.

You may have seen this week's guest flying around on a broomstick recently. Please welcome, the wickedly talented, Emma Kingston!
Having broken out originating the role of Vanessa in the London cast of In The Heights, and blowing people away with her performance as Eva Perón on the international tour of Evita, Emma is currently playing Elphaba opposite Zizi Strallen's Glinda in Wicked on the West End.
You may have also seen Emma as Heather Chandler in Heathers, Eponine (understudy) in Les Misérables and even in the star-studded cast of Schwartz At 75 alongside the likes of Jamie Muscato, Kerry Ellis, Louise Dearman and Rachel Tucker.

Stevie Webb made his West End debut in the lead role in Oliver! at the London Palladium. Since then, he’s done everything from performing with Michael Jackson at the BRIT Awards to starring in The History Boys in the West End.
Most recently, Stevie starred in the West End production of The Book of Mormon, the UK Tour of Here You Come Again, Chatroom (a role Stevie took over from Andrew Garfield) and, of course, the recent Regents Park Open Air Theatre production of Shucked.

We are joined by an absolute legend on this episode of Call To Stage!
Ruthie Henshall is a five-time Olivier Award nominee who has played some of the West End’s biggest roles. She’s been Fantine in Les Misérables, Nancy in Oliver!, Roxie Hart (and Mama Morton) in Chicago in the West End and was in the Original West End casts of Miss Saigon, Children of Eden, Crazy For You and Peggy Sue Got Married.
On Broadway, Ruthie was Roxie Hart in the Chicago revival and Ellen in Miss Saigon alongside numerous other credits spanning her nearly 40 year professional career.
Ruthie won Best Actress In A Musical at the Olivier Awards in 1995 for her performance in She Loves Me.
On this episode of Call To Stage, Amber and Ruthie talk about the emotional toll of auditioning, the importance of nurturing young talent in theatre and Ruthie’s experiences on Broadway!
