Singing not only takes energy - it is energy. It's vibration. Almost like no other instrument because it's within us.
And, like no other instrument, singing is a mirror that reflects back to us the energy we bring to it.
What we put in we get back.
I never knew that. I do now.

In today's episode I talk about the Power of a strong and supportive community.

This is something I had growing up as a singer that was invaluable to my learning how to sing at my potential. The support, joy and knowledge I got from the many amazing communities I was in is the reason I can do what I do.

There are lots of singers who are just one step away from finding their voice in this world and often times being in a great community is the missing link.

A community not only provides a place to share music but it's a place to make friends who are on the same path and who 'get you'.

It's a place where you can be accountable to actually do what you say you're going to do and what you know you should do.

There's no stopping a great singer with a supportive community behind him/her!
