First, we travel to Shepton Mallet in 1763 for The Vanishing of Owen Parfitt. How does an elderly, paralyzed man vanish into thin air from his porch in broad daylight, surrounded by witnesses? And why did a discovery 50 years later only make the mystery deeper?
Next, we head out to Eilean Mòr for The Vanishing of the Flannan Isles Lighthouse Keepers. In December 1900, three experienced lighthouse keepers vanished off a isolated rock in the North Atlantic without a trace. I'll separate the wild urban legends and famous poems from the terrifying real-life evidence found on the island.

In this episode of The Horrors Of, we uncover the full timeline of the Flight 401 disaster—from the famous 9 minutes of crew distraction, to the legendary airboat rescue led by Bud Marquis, and the unsettling ghost sightings that followed on other Lockheed L-1011 jets.
Then, I cover the dark history of the Florida Everglades with the wild story of the Ashley Gang. Led by John Ashley and Laura Upthegrove ("The King and Queen of the Everglades"), this family of Florida outlaws spent 13 years terrorizing law enforcement, robbing banks, bootlegging moonshine, and evading capture in the sawgrass of the Everglades until a deadly midnight ambush on a river bridge changed everything.
