Winston Gooze is a worn-down janitor working at a shady pharmaceutical/chemical company that’s playing fast and loose with toxic waste and employee health. After a catastrophic accident sends him into a vat of toxic sludge, he transforms into a hulking, green-skinned mutant: the titular “Toxic Avenger”. With his newfound powers (and a mop as his weapon of choice), he sets out to protect his stepson, fight off the corporate corruption, and clean up his community—literally and figuratively.
