Welcome to another hour of the very best in disco, mixed with love in London.

Apologies for the recent absence — I’ve been finishing my second major musical project, Songs For Every Heartbeat, out now on all streaming and download platforms. If you’re curious about the other side of my musical taste, it’s not disco — more R&B and retro soul, with touches of deep house, psychedelic rock and even a hint of country. If you do listen, please let me know what you think.

But for now, back to the disco. And I’ve slipped one of my own tracks into this mix — a remake of Maybe I’m Gay, with The Velvet Tecnokrats reworking the original protest pop into a deep house groove.

Hey - sorry I missed you in November, but I was busy working on new material, and I've included a couple of exclusive new tracks here for you in this mix. First up is a remix of a track from my first album. The track is called "Maybe I'm Gay". It's a song about self-empowerment and is for anyone who has ever felt othered. It's from the album "The Gift" which you can stream and download everywhere.  Here's a link to Apple Music, and to Spotify.  All proceeds from this album go to Alzheimer's Research.  Right now I'm putting the finishing touches to a Spanish language version of the album. Each track is uniquely Spanish and I've used the language to create a new interpretation of each song. In fact some tracks are quite different. Plus I've written and recorded some new material only in Spanish. It's all scheduled for release on Friday 23rd January 2026. Watch this space.

In December's Locked On Disco you'll also hear new tracks from Daisuke Miyamoto, John Frisco, Sgt Slick, Funk 78, Seamus Haji, Dr Packer, Adelphi Music Factory, and Block & Crown. October's disco mix is here. Oh, and me. Yes, when I was taking a break from putting the finishing touches to my new album (more of that in a moment) I sat down and created what I hope will be a bit of a future dancefloor favourite. "Disco I Love You" isn't available yet, but I hope to finish remixing it and get it out in time for Christmas. So for now, here's your exclusive preview. Let me know what you think.

And the album? Yes, it's not a disco album at all. Far from it. It's called "The Gift" and I've described it as a gay man's musical anthology of the queer lived experience. It's rooted in a singer/songwriter vibe, and explores soul, jazz, Latin and electropop influences. All proceeds from “The Gift” are donated to Alzheimer’s Research UK.  So please give it a listen happy in the knowledge that every stream and every download is getting us one step closer to identifying the cure for dementia. I hope you don't mind me sharing my continuing journey in raising awareness and money for dementia research. I'm releasing an album of my music (and it's not disco!) on 10th October 2025. Here I talk about my fears of writing a song about dementia and getting it wrong. I did care for two close relatives with dementia, but I will never know what it was like from their point of view.

The first track from the album is out now. It's called Maybe I'm Gay. It's available to stream and download everywhere. Here's the link to Apple Music.

All proceeds from the album, called The Gift, are in aid of the charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK. It is estimated that 982,000 people are living with dementia in the UK today, rising to 1.4 million by 2040. In 2022 it was the leading cause of death in the UK. Globally the World Health Organisation estimates that 57 million people have dementia. New cases are occurring at the rate of nearly 10 million each year, which breaks down to about one new case every 3.2 seconds. In the UK, the estimated economic impact of dementia in 2024 was £42.5 billion, a figure that is expected to more than double by 2040.
