In this episode, I sat down with Chiwoniso Kaitano, Executive Director of MacDowell, an artist residency in New York established in 1907 (over 100 years ago) and now one of the most prestigious artist residencies worldwide. I speak to Chiwoniso about her career path and what led her to her position as Executive Director of the residency. We delve into how the residency runs and we chat about its core mission within the art ecosystem.
