At the bottom of the Great Lakes, the dead don’t disappear.
They stay exactly where they were left.
Perfectly preserved. Suspended in the dark. Sometimes drifting. Sometimes… moving.
For hundreds of years, ships have vanished into these waters, taking their crews, their stories, and something else with them. And every now and then, the lakes remind us that none of it is truly gone.
