The second one shot comic from Boom!'s Hellraiser Resurrections focuses on Chatterer...as well as incel "Markverse."
Thankfully while writer Zac Thompson and illustrator Gavin Mitchell may have empathy for d-bags like Mark, the comic doesn't - this is a satisfying story about how Chatterer returns from the dead to slaughter a really awful guy.
Plus: ties to Hellraiser 3: Hell on Earth and more Hellraiser (2022); "gaunt" art work and...masturbation?

Bryan and Joe return to discuss Wounds (2019), the adaptation of Nathan Ballingrud's short story "The Visible Filth".
Written and directed by Babak Anvari, the film doesn't offer much new beyond the novella, especially the stilted performances by Armie Hammer & Dakota Johnson. Still, we applaud some of the imagery, including the use of real cockroaches and Cronenbergian armpit horror.

Bryan and Joe return to discuss Nathan Balingrud's short story anthology Wounds: Six Stories From The Border of Hell (2019).
This one is <nearly> there for us, though some stories are too short ("The Maw") while others are too long ("Skullpocket"). But when one hits, like the finale "The Butcher's Table", we're obsessed.
Plus: Barker-esque body horror imagery; why Bryan needed more obvious connective tissue; and our interest in the film adaptation.
