01.1.2026 | 26 Min.
Back in September we spoke to 18-year-old Tommy Lamb who was travelling from England to Australia to watch the Ashes without using an aeroplane. He has made it and witnessed the bonkers boxing day Test in Melbourne. He gives us his thoughts on if the 125-day journey was worth it to see a two-day Test match. Australia are 3-1 up in the Ashes, but the final Test in Sydney could be pivotal for both sides in terms of looking to the future. Alison Mitchell, Jim Maxwell and Charu Sharma assess what could be the key battles and how significant the final match will be for both sides. And the Stumped team make their New Years resolutions and tell us what aspects of cricket they would like to change.Photo: 18 year old Tommy Lamb travelling from England to Australia. Mulder, captaining South Africa for the first time, was 367 not out at lunch on the second day of the second Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo when he declared in their first innings. Mulder was just 33 runs short of Lara’s record 400 that he scored for West Indies against England in Antigua in 2004. Alison Mitchell, Jim Maxwell and Charu Sharma debate if Mulder made the correct decision.Former India International Cheteshwar Pujara and his wife Puja Pabari joined the Stumped podcast to share how they navigate life in the public eye.
