Spoilers: This episode contains full spoilers for A Court of Silver Flames, the entire ACOTAR series (A Court of Thorns and Roses, A Court of Mist and Fury, A Court of Wings and Ruin, and Frost and Starlight). Any other books or larger Sarah J. Maas universe theories and connections will be discussed in a separate Breadcrumbs and Broomsticks episode.
Chapters Summary:
After learning Feyre’s pregnancy may be deadly, Nesta agrees to scry for the Dread Trove. She travels with Cassian and Azriel to the bog of Oorid in the hopes of finding the Mask. When they are ambushed and separated. Nesta is left alone and terrified, for her life and for Cassian’s. Desperate to find the warrior, Nesta stumbles upon a kelpie that drags her beneath the water, forcing her to relive the terror of the Cauldron. This time, however, she fights back—calling the Mask of the Dread Trove and emerging victorious. When they see her and her army of the dead, Cassian and Azriel bow to her as Lady Death. That night, shaken but alive, Nesta and Cassian finally give in to the emotional and physical bond growing between them.
Each week, we ask ourselves a question:
If Nesta and Rhys mirror one another, then what does it mean for them to call a “truce” and can they ever truly adhere to the truce between them?
