Writer and scholar Wael Omar unpacks his recent essay for the Transnational Institute, "Palestine in a World of Struggle," tracing the deep history of Palestinian internationalism and arguing that Palestine's centrality in global politics was built through decades of political labor, not simply granted through sympathy or circulation.

Palestinian scholar, lawyer, and former director of the Palestine Research Center, Sabri Jiryis, joins this episode to discuss the historical significance of the Center and its archives, as well as his seminal work, The Foundations of Zionism, recently translated into English for the first time.
