Surprise Voyage to the bottom of the sea remake with Star Wars Ray Daisy Ridley, directed by Wandavision Matt Shakman and written by Star Trek Strange New Worlds creator Akiva Goldman. so will this work or will it be a SNW level disaster? I suspect the latter but however stupid the idea sounds, lots of stupid ideas end up being awesome!  So we can but hope

Do Star Trek bosses really think they can get the viewing figures of Star Wars as the two biggest franchises go head to head. Well apparently they do and I think this is bosses making the same mistake again as they chase the young new audience instead of focusing on what start trek is, and what the existing fans want.
