  November 22nd 2025 is SEVEN's First Birthday! We are celebrating in style with an incredible remix EP of our label co-founder CRYME's amazing track London Boy. The Vinyl EP features remixes by three incredible artists who all love the original track and played in repeatedly in their sets. MCR-T, Roza Terenzi and Jako Jako all made us their own special spin on the original. Stef de Haan came in with a wonderful remix as the digital bonus. Roza Terenzi supplies a sleek, modern club workout, reframing the vocal into playful rhythmic fragments and keeping the pulse elastic and unpredictable. Jako Jako strips it back with a floor-focused interpretation built on rolling drums and a bouncing bassline, carving space for a raw synth lead and chopped vocals that add a mischievous edge.   The 285th edition of our Local Selection mix series comes from Mav, who delivers a head-banging techno session built entirely from her own productions. Dublin’s Mav has become an essential force in contemporary Irish techno. Her approach stands apart from the conveyor-belt sensibilities often associated with the genre today. Instead, she delves deep into the world of live, hardware-driven performance, crafting tracks that feel raw, tactile and intensely human, music where machine and body interact to create something visceral and physical. Though she may have only come onto wider radars in recent years, Mav has been a committed participant in dance music culture for far longer. She began DJing in the early 2000s, eventually finding her home in the alternative club scene, a space where she could explore her gender identity while refining her artistic voice. Her sound sits firmly on the dark and industrial end of the techno spectrum. With roots in rock and metal, Mav approached electronic music from an outsider’s angle. Deep dives into industrial, darkwave, goth, EBM and aggrotech expanded her sonic vocabulary and continue to shape her creativity. She gravitates toward pounding four-on-the-floor rhythms, aggressive and hypnotic grooves, minimal melodies and deadpan vocals, elements that combine to set the stage for intense dance-floor journeys. This 100% original-productions mix is a testament to countless hours spent in the studio. Across an unrelenting hour, she showcases her physical, hands-on process: noisy, thumping, abrasive techno powered by raw emotion. • Local Selection 284: EMORE

  The 284th Local Selection comes from Drogheda-based rising selector Emore, who guides us through a slinky set of warping progressive house cuts, an hour-long trip into alien territories and hypnotic rhythms. Emore has quickly become a standout name in Ireland’s club circuit. The Drogheda-based DJ and promoter has earned a reputation for her expansive approach to selection, most at home within the twisted spectrum of house and techno. Beyond DJing, Emore is deeply embedded in the community side of club culture. She’s been instrumental in reviving Drogheda’s once-prominent nightlife scene, helping to shape some of the town’s most formative collectives and parties, including Mood, Drogheda Groove Movement, and her latest project, Bubblegum. This mix feels like a culmination of her influences, a sound that could easily have emerged from the eastern edges of Europe’s underground house scene. It’s chugging, sci-fi-tinged, and priggish in all the right ways: weird yet controlled, experimental yet irresistibly danceable. That balance, where forward-facing music still translates to the floor, is difficult to strike, but Emore nails it. The energy builds and mutates, never tipping over, maintaining a tension that makes you wish it went on for another three hours. It’s the kind of mix that keeps you tucked into the back-left corner of the dancefloor, drink in hand, locked in those infectious, bleeped-out rhythms.   Belfast-based DJ and producer CIAN steps up for this week’s Local Selection, delivering a tasteful, deep, and driving trip through hypnotic techno, flexing his versatility and muscle in digging deep. The mix is a journey, blending screwball contemporary cuts with low-slung, heads-down grooves that lock you into a rolling, meditative flow. It’s an exercise in rhythm and restraint, showcasing CIAN’s ability to balance tension and release. Known for his eclecticism, CIAN has become a key figure among Belfast’s new generation of DJs, artists who refuse to be boxed in by a single genre, scene, or label.
