  GETSPART, formerly known as Adam Talbot, is a Dublin-based DJ and producer championing the nu-school house and garage movement in the Irish capital. His sound draws from the deep, punchy, and swung textures that live in the space between house and garage, music designed for the dancefloor, but resonating on a deeper, emotional level. A graduate of the renowned DJ and dance music powerhouse Bray Institute of Further Education (BIFE), GETSPART immersed himself fully in both the DJ Techniques and Music Production programs. Under the mentorship of acclaimed artists Sunil Sharpe and Doug Cooney, he honed his craft, delving into the subtleties, nuances, and mechanics that define high-calibre electronic music. As a producer, GETSPART has already made his mark with a release on Foundations Records, and he has two more forthcoming projects lined up with Talkbox and 9 Lives. His productions reflect a distinctive voice, a blend of rhythmic depth, groove, and character, inspired by legends such as Kerri Chandler, Todd Terry, Burnski, DART, Spray, and Jeremy Sylvester. His Local Selection mix embodies these influences, serving up steppy, rolling percussion layered with glossy, chord-driven lushness. It’s a masterful balance between light and dark. Unafraid to explore the gnarly, murky ends of the house and garage canon, yet equally at home in the jazzy, floating sensibilities of classic Chicago house. • Four Four Premiere: Kerrie - Recircuit [Tresor Records]

  Irish techno producer Kerrie returns to Tresor Records on 24th October 2025 with her second EP for the label. Entitled Echoes Of The Live Wire, this collection captures the beauty and essence of live performance — a moment in time never to be repeated. This fixing of time is also given a different meaning as the EP explores the ways in which intense moments in our lives, both joyful and painful, are crystallised into memory — both beautiful and haunting — lingering long after they've passed. Layered meanings are employed throughout as Kerrie explores this idea: Live Wire draws connections between circuit boards and the human nervous system, whilst also toying with multiple meanings of the word “live”. Echoes Of channels classic Detroit techno influences, resonating with the distant hum of memories that refuse to fade, while Moment To Memory is a beatless, floating piece which slowly builds to an ecstatic crescendo. Digital bonus tracks Recircuit and Reclaim add further depth to the core metaphor: the former a driving, minimal yet building techno workout, and the latter a cathartic and emotionally open track that delivers intensity with vulnerability. Echoes Of The Live Wire reflects on memory as a complex, dual-sided force where joy and pain coexist with equal weight. Her creative process becomes a form of meditation and emotional processing — using machines to process, reflect, and let go. The result is a body of work that loops back on itself, telling a story of fleeting moments and their lasting emotional imprints.   YARIS is a new force emerging from Belfast’s supercharged local club circuit. As an ever-curious and adventurous selector and promoter, her mission is simple, to inject fun back into every space she steps into. Still fresh to DJing, YARIS brings a burst of raw, untamed energy to her sets. Unconcerned with rules, restrictions, or trends that often shape the scene, she thrives on instinct, that pure, early-stage spark that can’t be taught. Despite her recent arrival, she’s already left her mark across some of Belfast’s most treasured venues and festivals, including Emerge Festival, Thompsons, Titanic Distillers, The Barge, Marcus Ward, Banana Block, and Ulster Sports Club. Beyond DJing, YARIS is the founder of Music Is Nonverbal, a project designed to help neurodivergent and socially anxious individuals connect, express, and heal through the universal language of music. It’s an inspiring initiative, one that deserves far more recognition across Ireland. YARIS’s Local Selection is a tribute to the fun-loving, spontaneous spirit that defines her approach. High-energy and fast-paced, it’s filled with lush dubby chords, gnarly driving rhythms, and springy, shuffled techno tools. Rather than focusing on tension or intensity, it celebrates the playful, party-driven side of techno, almost leaning into a house sensibility. • Four Four Premiere: James Begley - The Wake [BKR VA001]

  The Wake by James Begley, from the upcoming Bare-Knuckle Records VA “Fractured Unity I”, is a raw and synth heavy chugger created for dance floor destruction. The evolution of the driving bass accompanied by pulsating synths, locks the listener into a deep groove eventually building to a monumentally euphoric crescendo. An effective weapon would be an understatement.   Dublin’s MILLS steps up to the Local Selection series with a rolling, high-energy house hour underscored by his signature techy, steppy minimal flavour. While rooted in minimal, MILLS doesn’t rely on its tropes; instead, he regularly turns the dial toward rave and jackin’ house influences, creating a sound that’s dynamic, unpredictable, and powerful. MILLS has cemented himself as one of 2025’s most exciting emerging house talents. His rise hasn’t been limited to his own work as a DJ and producer; he’s also established himself as a contemporary tastemaker, using both radio and social media to champion fresh sounds from Ireland and beyond. A positive and consistent presence in the Irish electronic landscape, his influence is rippling through the scene. Now a regular fixture across Ireland’s top venues, MILLS has also made waves internationally — from Ibiza and Magaluf to Santa Ponsa and Liverpool — sharing stages with a roster of revered artists including Weiss, Ejeca (Trancewax), Shermanology, Biscits, Yasmine Gardezi, Morgan Seatree, Camrin Watsin, Evan McGee, Caz, and Jess Bays, among others.
