Helen has been missing in action, as far as her family is concerned, and they are concerned, so they decide to hunt her down in her lair, so to speak. Helen hasn't been all that productive since her accident (Season 12), and her oldest friend and ex publisher/boss Joey (from college days in the 1960s) challenges her to try something different. Instead of writing life affirming poems about the natural world, why not create a horror story? Everybody else is doing it, after all...
Episode 4 of Season 13, "The Art of Wittering". I admit, I thought of the title when I was writing Scene 1, and then it took off in an entirely different direction, but I haven't been able to let go of that title. Let me know if you have a better idea, I'd love to hear it.
