Menstruation Empowerment & Monthly Cycle Wisdom with Samantha Neal
In this conversation I'm diving into the vast world of womanly cycles with Samantha Neal, who lives, breathes and shares the power of coming into greater understanding, and therefore empowerment, around our monthly cycles.
We speak in depth about menstruation, the way society has 'told us' to think about it, her first time bleeding and her disempowered perception of it then, to now understanding it's purpose, and the power we have in this time to vision/create/rest/restore.
We go into exactly what happens in a woman's body each month as she prepares to ovulate, and then to bleed, and around and around again.
We share tips on self-care, food, herbs, rituals and boundaries needed at these times of the month, and how to understand/communicate our needs and honour them.
Samantha lives in Byron Bay, Australia and holds workshops, meditations, circles and 1:1 sessions.

Sailing the World, Solo Van Life & Artistic Endeavours with Josje Leyten
In this conversation I’m exploring the adventures of Josje Leyten, a world-travelling sailor, an artist, a media creator and a natural intuitive.
She’s walked, or drifted, perhaps, along the path less travelled, in embarking on a sailing endeavour at the age of 18 and not coming back for over 4 years, travelling all around the pacific and falling in love with life on the sea.
We explore her life’s journey and all the directions it’s lead her in and the places shes seen, and most recently to her van life living and solo adventures through Australia.
We also speak about what inspires her to share her journey through YouTube, and the new collaborative project she’s just about to launch on there!

Women's Social/Skill/Financial/Community Empowerment in India with IPHD Founder Madhu Vaishnav
In this very potent and important conversation I’m speaking to Madhu Vaishnav, the incredible lady behind IPHD, a small NGO based out of Jodhpur, India.
During the podcast we speak about Madhu’s journey, diving into the topic of gender and what it means to be a woman in India (a still patriarchal society), to her time working as a social worker in the slums of Jodhpur, to now her work within rural community development. We discuss the significance of women’s empowerment and why this remains Madhu’s sole focus.
We also touch on the creation of ‘Saheli Women’, the social enterprise program formed in 2015 by Madhu to create employment opportunities and financial and social independence for the women of Bhikamkor, the rural village, adopted by IPHD in 2015, which is currently an incredible ethical clothing enterprise.
I was introduced to Madhu through my beautiful friend Claire Hart, who just spent some time in the community developing her ethical clothing label Arezü. So she chimes in too through the conversation!
Sink in and dive into Madhu’s story, her passion, her mission and the incredible work she’s doing from the ground up in rural Indian communities through the empowerment of women.

Yoga, Healing PTSD, Nature Retreats, Artistry & Relationship Medicine with Lara Zilibowitz
In this episode I’m chatting to the super inspiring Lara Zilibowitz.
She’s an amazing Yoga Teacher and space holder who also creates some really epic retreats in some beautiful places around the globe, inspiring people to drop in deeper to the healing power of nature, to come back into their own inner harmony and connect with community.
We firstly dive into her journey of discovering yoga in her late teens as a way to heal from post-traumatic stress from a near/death incident that affected her entire nervous system, and how long and winding that journey of unravelling anxiety has been.
We also speak about her incredible artistry, the amazing wall murals she’s been painting, and the power of creativity for unwinding imbalances and tapping us into our true, creative, playful nature.
She also shares about the deep relationship she’s in, the super special, fateful way it came to be, and how they’ve used the power of their love to collaborate in creating yoga and sound experiences in classes, workshops and retreats. We speak about finding the balance in a work-lover relationship, and some of the main pieces of gold she’s learnt through being in such a potent union.
She also gives us good tips on how to break through the self-doubt that comes as you decide to be more of a teacher, speaker or space-holder. And lots more.
