The 'Cast of Us | A Last of Us & Walking Dead 'Cast

Andrew Lincoln starred in a TV series, and so of course we’re gonna talk about it! Thing is, he plays kind of a berk (that’s British for chode). Coldwater (available on Paramount+ in the U.S.) is a lot of fun though — it’s funny, thought-provoking, and it’s a good old-fashioned thriller to sink your teeth into. I wouldn’t necessarily give it my highest recommendation, but honestly, that fact that Lucy and I had so much fun talking about it made me like it even more. You gotta be ready to see Andrew Lincoln playing a berk though….

Hey all, here’s a bonus episode for ya. If you’re a fan of the Apple TV series Severance — or if you’ve missing hearing me (Jason) and Karen together — I’m pretty sure you’ll like it. Karen in particular is in top form here :) 

So what is this? This is the two of us on my other podcast, Wax Episodic, talking Severance S1E1 “Good News About Hell”. 

What is Severance? It’s a trippy show where for some reason office workers have had their brains bifurcated so that while at work, they retain only work memories, and only outside memories on the outside. It’s a mysterious, mind-bending, amusingly strange, beautifully shot, intelligent thriller about identity, memory, and corporate control, and it’s on Apple TV, and Karen and I will be covering the entire series on Wax Episodic.

That’s a wrap for season 5! Because of the Daryl show and a few other detours, it took us six months, which was just as long as when we covered it the first time. Lol. Anyway, the season ends with this packed episode that’s a turning point for Alexandria and Rick and the fam, and we were thrilled to have listener Carisa from Portland to talk It out with us.
