švedka is a Lithuanian-born, Leeds-based artist shaping raw, rolling, and atmospheric techno. Drawn to movement and rhythm from an early connection to the dance floor, her sound leans into groove-driven selections and hypnotic energy that pull listeners into a state of flow.
An eclectic selector with a deep sensitivity to energy, she has played across the North of the UK for a range of collectives, supporting both local and international artists.
For švedka, the club is a space for release and connection. “People arrive carrying emotions and experiences that have built up over time, and the dance floor becomes a place to let go. It’s about shared energy rather than exclusivity - and about the people who make the night what it is.” Through this, they have built a close-knit community rooted in a shared respect for the culture.
Alongside DJing, she has recently moved into music production, using it as a way to deepen and translate her sonic identity. The focus is on developing something honest, with future work to follow.
