  • FWD: The Night Post
The Night Post is a weekly supernatural fiction podcast about conscripted mail couriers. Follow @NightPostPod on Twitter and TheNightPost on Tumblr. Find out more about the show at nightpostpod.com.In this episode, Nicholas rides along with Milo for his evaluation, but their delivery to a possessive house is anything but routine. Content warning for loud noises, disembodied voices, and a death mention. The transcript for this episode is here. See the bottom of the shownotes for a transcript of Tal's introduction at the top of the episode. This episode was written and produced by Tyler Anderson, and features him as Milo. Ethan Thomason is the voice of Nicholas. Music composed by Ethan Thomason.Transcript of the intro:Hi, I'm Tal Minear, executive producer of Re: Dracula. I'm here today to tell you about another audio drama I think you'd like. It's called The Night Post, and it's a weekly supernatural fiction podcast created by an all-queer team! In Gilt City, conscripted couriers are both respected and shunned. They inhabit the borderlands between a growing industrial society and the untamed, arcane frontier that surrounds it. What begins as Milo’s search for his missing husband becomes the couriers’ journey to save themselves and uncover the secrets of the organization that chose them. I adore the concept of a conscription mail service, and the mysteries set up in the first episode are incredibly juicy as well. Keep listening for a standalone episode of the show. Hosted on Acast. • FWD: Someone Dies In This Elevator
Our first feed drop! We'll be periodically sharing audio dramas we think fans of Re: Dracula will also like. I hear there's an oncoming droughtula, and hopefully you can fill your podcatcher with other great shows.Someone Dies in this Elevator is spoiler-driven anthology podcast where there is always an elevator and someone always dies in it - but everything else is different.Follow @SDITEpod on Instagram, Tumblr, & Twitter. Find out more about the show at sditepod.com.In this episode, some stone doors aren't meant to be opened, and some ropes aren't meant to be pulled. South of Palenque contains racism in academia, the consequences of genocidal colonization, and death in an elevator. The transcript for this episode is here. See the bottom of the shownotes for a transcript of Tal's introduction at the top of the episode.Cast:Felix Trench (he/him) as The Professor.Andrew Siañez-De La O (he/they) as Manny.Crew:Written by Andrew Siañez-De La O (he/they).Directed by Colin J. Kelly (he/him).Script Editing by Jesse Schuschu (he/they).Dialogue Editing by Amador Rodriguez (he/him).Sound Design, Scoring, and Mastering by Tal Minear (they/them).Special thanks to Brad Colbroock for the whistling!Transcript of the intro:Hi, I'm Tal Minear, executive producer of Re: Dracula. I'm here today to tell you about another audio drama I think you'd like. It's called Someone Dies In This Elevator, and it's a spoiler-driven anthology podcast where there is always an elevator and someone always dies in it - but everything else is different. I'm the showrunner and one of the sound designers for the show, so if you like the audio production of Re: Dracula, I think you'll like it in Someone Dies In This Elevator too. You'll also catch some of our voice actors in a few of the episodes, including Beth Eyre, Giancarlo Herrera, and Felix Trench. Because it's an anthology show, you can drop in on any episode in any order. My personal favorite episode is South of Palenque, where we hear Felix Trench as a professor investigating a Mayan tomb. What could go wrong? Stay tuned to find out. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
