Vance Ironsides' special vision suddenly becomes both blessing and curse as he identifies strange shadow creatures disguised as ordinary dock workers throughout the port. His desperate whispered warning to Dolo and Dudley transforms what should have been a routine docking into a fight for survival. These aren't ordinary enemies—they're shadow people, beings literally made of darkness who have infiltrated the port and seem determined to prevent our heroes from completing their mission for Silva.What follows is a desperate scramble through the port as the team attempts to reach the city proper. Dolo's quick thinking and magical abilities clash against the unnatural powers of these shadow beings, while Dudley's remarkable archery skills become their greatest asset.
